What do you sell?

Doug Laurie Sports sells sports and non-sports cards, supplies and  NHL apparel and merchandise, sports and entertainment autographs and much more. We also specialize in customizing jerseys and custom framing.

Do you buy sports cards and memorabilia?

Doug Laurie Sports will always look at your collection if you're interested in selling. However, we do ask you to keep these  points in mind:

* We will most likely not be interested in sports cards from the late 80s and early 90s. Unfortunately, these cards were  mass produced and consequently have very little resale value.

* We rarely buy autographed memorabilia unless it comes from a source we know or can verify. We can not sell our customers autographs without knowing  ourselves their history and provenance. This doesn't mean we won't buy your collection if you don't have authentication, especially in the cases of vintage or large collections. Contact us for more information.

* It is always best to call ahead and schedule an appointment for us to consider your collection. On days we are busy, we can not spend several hours looking at your cards and not serving our customers. We may ask you to leave your collection so that we can look at it after hours, and we will issue you a receipt.

* We are available to make house calls for collections, but those visits are completely at our discretion and on our schedule.

Do you accept consignments?

Doug Laurie Sports does accept consignments, but on a very limited basis. We generally only accept high-end memorabilia or cards.  If we accept your consignment, you will receive a contract stating our  fees and that we accept responsibility for your item(s).

Fees will vary depending on the value of the item, the method by which it is sold and how long it takes to sell. Our fees are among the lowest in the industry, and your piece(s) will receive exposure through not only our store and web site, but also our eBay store, card shows and expositions we attend and via other websites with which we have agreements.

The consignor always has the right to withdraw any or all items consigned to us; however, we may impose a stocking fee depending on the circumstance.
